Jordan Halland is a Brooklyn-based director, producer, and creative strategist with over 15 years experience making films for brands, organizations, and audiences worldwide.

Jordan brings a stripped-down vérité sensibility to stories about identity, resilience, and the human experience. Whether he's illuminating melting glaciers in Alaska, filming river-surfers in the heart of Montana, or documenting asylum seekers arriving into the US, every project starts from the same place: a belief that the right story, told clearly, can move people to think or act differently.

His client list includes Netflix, HBO, CBS, Canon, Vice, Disney, and Outside Magazine, as well as startups and nonprofits focused on social impact.

His films Strongwater and Shaving for Beginners earned Vimeo Staff Picks. After a career of writing and directing commercials and documentaries, Jordan made his first jump into narrative with his short film, Heal.

He represents Canon, SmallHD, Sachtler, Quasar, Litepanels, Anton Bauer, and Scosche, and has taught workshops at major film festivals and at Canon's headquarters in Burbank.
